The top image was acquired by the Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+) on Landsat 7 on August 5, 1999, when the glacier was stable. The change is apparent in the images above. The glacier is now breaking up and calving high volumes of icebergs into the ocean, which will result in rising sea levels for decades to come.РІР‚Сњ РІР‚СљThe shape and dynamics of ZachariР“В¦ IsstrР“С‘m have changed dramatically over the last few years. РІР‚СљNorth Greenland glaciers are changing rapidly,РІР‚Сњ said lead author Jeremie Mouginot of the University of California, Irvine (UCI). It is already shedding billions of tons of ice into the far North Atlantic each year.

The glacier holds enough water to raise global sea level by more than 46 centimeters (18 inches) if it were to melt completely. ThatРІР‚в„ўs about 5 percent of the Greenland Ice Sheet. It drains ice from a 91,780 square kilometer (35,440 square mile) area of northeast Greenland. The consequences will be felt for decades to come. Research published November 2015 in Science found that ZachariР“В¦ IsstrР“С‘m broke loose from a stable position in 2012 and entered a phase of accelerated retreat.

Once selected, the group of vectors or the set of nodes can be edited simultaneously in either the 2D or the 3D view.Р”В¬NC machining is often easier if all the vectors are in either the clockwise or anticlockwise direction. Selection can also be made of a set of nodes, either from a single vector or from a group of vectors. The editing of vectors looks to have been sped up, with the selection of vectors being made easier and quicker.Р”Вragging the mouse across any area of a model now selects all the vectors either completely or partially within that area. In addition to the new putty tool, options now operating in real time include the shape editor, the two-rail-sweep tools, and the extrude, spin and turn modeling tools.

ItРІР‚в„ўll be a valuable tool when creating a series of variants on a repeating element in a design, such as flowers making up a bouquet, or subtly changing the details of a design such as facial expressions. This allows models to be edited by picking an area to be moved, swirled, pinched or puckered. The main development for the 2015 release is the new putty tool for modelling.
